Queen of Pentacles
Harmony
I hate that book but try not to be too obtuse about it. She has good points…among the many bad ones.
A few nifty things have cropped up in the tarot world this week. First the Wheel of Tarot.
Karen Witter a tarot author who has written on tarot associations with the tree of life, I-Ching, and other topics on tarot symbolism. Just Google her name
This is a handy chart which lays out all those associations. Her Yahoo group is pretty much a spam basin though. You can read most of her articles through the google link
Next comes the Fortune Mandala. Remember those fortune games in high school? You’d fold the paper, say a rhyme and open it to reveal your fortune? Well now you can do it with all the associations of fortune telling layed out for you! It’s a neat little device for which I can see lots of teaching applications.
My card today is the Knight of Swords…
Yeah, the crusade today was to protect writers in my meetup again scams. yet again.
Eight of Wands
Destiny…
I started a new diet this week. So far so good…weigh in on Friday.
Knave of Swords
Trials of today have been many…
Aia’s been sick…I got reviewed at work and I’ve been trying to get subs to send their bids in.
whew..
Four of Wands
I always think of this card as a party card. hrm…nothing to really reflect it so far.
Eight of Cups
What,in this world, would I be leaving behind today?
Hopefully it’s about 50lbs worth of weight.
Nine of Swords
Worry…I have it in the back of my mind always…
sigh.
The Sun
The sun card is like an epiphany, it’s not the most pleasant of cards even if it is almost always regarded as such. Pulling this card on a daily spread makes me wonder, today it also fills me with dread.
So far I cannot pinpoint why.
Page of Pentacles
Well I can see this a me…starting on a new finacial cusp (loan), spiritual cusp (hallowquest II) or just life in general…
It feels like a time of change.
