The Plan
So here’s the game plan.
Decided to quit and become a writer full time. X
Tell work so they have time to hire someone else who I can train. X
Update and re-design my website – in process
Put aside a 1 – 2 paycheck buffer so I can pay myself on the same schedule – half way there.
Update and change insurance – Waiting for quotes
Update business cards – in design phase
Clean up the “room of no return” and get my office in order – shelves purchased and ready for cleaning this weekend.
Get a tax savings account
Sell that house – Looking like January!
That’s the current game plan!

Yes, we are now at michellejnorton.com. It’s vain, and I like it that way.
Most things are working. I have to go through posts and fix pictures. Somewhere along the lines I lost my downloads…I have no idea where those went. I do know the author of that plugin likes to change folders, which plays havoc on wordpress auto upgrade. So I’ll dig around for it. [UPDATE: found it, it works.]
Mostly it’s the images. I’m working on it.
Tomorrrow, I’ll let you know how updating the ipod touch, and how my surgery went this week. That’s right, surgery.
Not what you would call a happy camper.
I have some extra time during work right now so I’ve been working on website stuff.
78 Images has been sadly neglected lately…mostly because while I have things to post…I haven’t had time to get things all transcribed correctly. I want to change the look as well…
So I go there today and it’s been suspended. Looks like the wordpress plugin BDP Rss Aggregator is going nutzo…so the hosting company shut it down. I use it on this site as well…so no more rss feeds posted on the each site. This is nuts. I wasn’t notified of a problem. There was no way to know of it unless I went through all the raw logs….which is what I just did.
Sigh.
I’m in a holding pattern on HOD…waiting for the new leader to lead me into what he wants. Same for the DGA…I can’t do much until they make some decisions.
I have three new projects:
Rebecca’s Swim blog…it’s just a fledging blog right now…no design yet….she’s still deciding what she wants.
Aia will have a webpage soon. Won’t be public though.
Then there’s Serial Pulp…the webpage design is set…we just need content and images. I’m working on the title image…content needs to come from J.
On top of this is the novel and Worldcon….which I’m working on as well.

So I’ve Updated my wordpress again. I still need to do the other site. I’m not sure what the difference between tags and categories are.
Except more work.
The gallery looks much better now…but some thumbnails are still missing. I’m working figuring out why they don’t all regenerate.
