The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett

What a fun book. I love Prachett’s sense of humor. References to rpgs, terrorists and mythology abound.

The hard part is how to describe it.

Rincewind the wizard is swept up into the service of Twoflower, the owner of Luggage a monstrous box with a million legs. Because of it they must run for their lives but can’t seem to stay out of trouble.

Irreverent, timely and precocious. All these are good things. This is the best fantasy. For though the world is only a flat disc, it is endless.
