So, for those of you who were waiting with baited breath for the next installment of Michelle-got-hit-by-a-car-but-didn’t-die-or-loose-her-car drama wait no longer.
My brother and I have a habit of getting in car wrecks that we had nothing to do with. He tends to need a new car and/or surgery. I usually walk away and my car just needs a few repairs.
This time a lady in a green Toyota suv rammed her car into the side of mine then took off. She didn’t look at me or even slow down. I got thrown across two turn lanes when I was trying just to go straight
. No one else was hit and no one stopped.
In a crisis, I’m usually self-possessed enough to realize my surroundings. I got a look at her face, the make and color of her car and her license plate number
After some hysterics, I got myself together and turned onto Ulster then into a private parking lot. Security eye’d me a bit but were reluctant to confront a woman with long black and white marks down the side of her car. Perhaps it was the bawling.
I called my insurance company, and then the cops. After a small kerfluffle
Starbucks now has Chai frappicinos
So now I wait. My insurance company needs to call me back. I need to have my car serviced. I hope this lady gets picked up.
The day has been to long. Our D&D game is canceled but I’m going to J.’s anyway. He’s good company.
