Today: We’ve almost complete preparations for Shawn to leave. He’s moving to Greeley. Aia is so smart, and she knows he’s leaving. I’m behind in school and studies. I don’t know if I’ll catch up in time for the winter.
Meditation: Gawain
I ask the woman and child to stay with me. I feed the begger. I have the begger ferry the old woman across for money. I have the diseased one stay for a talk at a safe distance for the baby. I have the angry woman become my companion, as I think her arguement follows my life.

I tend not to follow through on my service. I am swift to be generous. I am good to those I love, but not always to others. I tend not always to be compassionate, rather I am when I have to be. I treat self-discipline as an awful duty. I treat this quest as I would a tradition, that it must be upheld.
I know I need to work on my follow through, but I know I’m getting better. I need to be better towards others.
