Phoenix Con, Cat and Passings

The weekend was good. Not great, good. It started with a two hour flight delay.

The first day we were fully there my games were canceled. So I painted. Alot.

I found Crunch Waffle. Their minis are amazing and have so much detail. I’m behind on mini pictures because my friends camera’s have been unavailable to me. I so need a camera for close up work.

Pulp had great turnout. We were ditched by the people who invited us. It’s not that we needed to be entertained but that we were blatantly excluded from activities with them. This happened last year too. If we go again, we’ll just not expect to see them at all.

This ended with another long flight delay. Luckily this plane didn’t loose power until after we landed. I was searched at the Phoenix airport. Tarot cards and a pendulum look like a bomb to some people. The lady who did the searching ended up being a gamer though. So I didn’t have to explain the “I’m tired of slitting the throats of all the people who think I’m a psychopath” t-shirt, the Japanese from 0 book, or dice.

Cat did not make it on the trip. Which really sucked. She fell out of my bag in a recoverable area though. Poor cat. Got to get up her other pictures though.

Today St. told me that Clay Bush passed away.

He was a gamer, a pulp regular, a paranoia fan and an author. He will be missed.
