Gah, it is officially cold out and still no end to day light savings time. I just can’t seem to get up before six anymore. Why won’t they make it stop.
The last few days have been busy. I have been pounding out on Becca’s site (by posting comments with your name, I’m gonna start using your name lol). I need to work on that and that Marketing Matters site. KK wants it to look like her brochure…why o why must these people keeping doing that.
I’ve stopped up the sprinklers for the year and turned off the outside water. Much colder than last year. Last year, I put the quilts away in May and got them out again in November. This year the quilts didn’t get put away till July and now they are out again (as of September).
We had our first game at James’ house. It was a lot of fun and the group seems very easy going. They were all patient with Aia, who was not on her best behavior. I told her next time that she could bring a big puzzle to work on and another movie. James has a big TV set up. I think he was afraid I’d break it. 🙂
Wednesday was abysmal; I dropped a bottle of buffalo sauce all over the kitchen, which made the poor dog very afraid. Bab5 was pretty awful. Misty and I are going to buckle down and blowout this season next week. If this goes on much longer, I’m going to make her watch Firefly just to get back some happy faith juice that there is still creativity out there.
On the Brightside a rep called about “taking back television entertainment for our children”. About 20 seconds into his spiel about family values, I ask if he was from Focus on the Family. He said, “No…yes”. So, I told him I was Pagan and had different family values than him. He hung up. It brightened my day.
Tonight all I want to do is write, work on websites then loose myself in an hour or so of FFxi.
I really want to write. I’m actually almost done with day six. I want to get this draft done by November for Nanowrimo.
Oh gods, Nanowrimo!
