You, my dear, have been the victum of plot rape.

Plot Rape:

When a character of a story, whether it be a book, a movie or a tv show…or really anything begins saying:

1. What’s the point?
or
2. I don’t know how this happened (especially after a sober consentual sex scene).

They have been raped by the plot.

The writer needs to go back and fix the plot badly or a least shape out the characters more so this doesn’t happen. The cases where the plot rapes the characters are too numerous to mention but here are some examples:
